Happy Birthday John Lennon

I know he’s dead, but I can wish him a Happy Birthday anyway Happy Birthday John Lennon. Other websites have forgotten John Lennon has a birthday today, but I never will. He’s my hero and the real  reason for me to be interested in music in the first place. John Lennon, you still have fans, and we all love you. I remember the day, I got my first Beatle album, which is The Beatles 1962/1966, or as the fans call it The Red Album...

Happy Birthday John Lennon

Of all the performers, John Lennon inspired me the most and of all the many people that effected me is John Lennon and to celebrate his birthday by texting Happy Birthday John Lennon isn’t enough to text about him, I should text more than anybody else.

John Lennon’s songs kept me going when nobody was around me to tell me how to feel special about myself. John Lennon was the one that changed my life more so that I couldn’t find the words or how to begin. I bought his whole library of solo LP’s without knowing if I like it or not.

Of course I love his vinyl LP’s, but John Lennon’s  personal life also effected me as well...

Happy Birthday Chubby Checker

Chubby Checker October 3,1941-Still Alive.

It’s wonderful to celebrate someone’s birthday on their birthday without missing it. I wish I could do more than just text Happy Birthday, but I don’t know Chubby Checker that well, and I’m sure that he has plans of his own.

I have to text honestly that in today music, Chubby Checker would be a One Hit Wonder, but that song, Twist was phenomenal. The Song Twist, was on the charts for a long time, and still on the radio today. The Twist was a dance, as well and also is still being done today. The song Twist had a sequel, which is rarely done and is unheard of for today’s performers, for today, it’s whatever is new to sing about, but The Twist has a life of it’s own, and only Chubby Checker can do it justice...

Happy Birthday Jerry Lee Lewis

Happy Birthday Jerry Lee Lewis

Jerry Lee Lewis Born: September 29,1935-Still Alive.

I can’t believe that I’m texting about Jerry Lee Lewis on my website, for the early part of 1970’s (from 1970 to 1974), all I played was the later 1950’s (from 1956 to 1959), was Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley, to me, these were giants and nothing would replace that, until two years later, With The Beatles.

In the early 1970’s, when I was in sixth grade, I was teased and picked on by bullies who found out about my taste in music, only to find that I was ahead of my time, for Happy Days was on TV that was when I had friends and that they wanted to borrow my vinyl LP’s. When I refused them, that’s when I was in a lot of fights, which I won half of them...

Happy Birthday Ben E. King

Happy Birthday Ben E. King

Ben E. King September 28 1939-April 30,2015

I’ve listened to Ben E. King for decades and at the time, I hadn’t known that he was the lead singer of The Drifters. The Drifters wasn’t my interested in the 1960’s and the 1970’s, like they are now but I heard of them and I heard their songs on my radio, but it never went any further than that, until the 1980’s, when I started to like everyone that wasn’t from The British Invasion of the 1960’s.

Ben E. king’s Stand By Me always kept me going when times weren’t good for me. I play Stand By Me daily and I feel better about myself...

Happy Birthday Linda McCartney

Happy Birthday Linda McCartney

Linda McCartney September 24,1941-April 17,1998

Of all the performers’s wives,Linda McCartney is the only woman that has a personality and history in music that makes her more interesting to more than just a post Beatle wife. I think Linda McCartney is better than Yoko Ono, because she enhances her husband, Paul McCartney, where Yoko Ono has a career on her own. Let’s face it, Linda McCartney and Yoko Ono, will always be compared to each other, because they were married to The Beatles, but Linda McCartney has class enough to let her husband Paul McCartney steal the show.

Unlike Yono Ono, Linda McCartney never tried to invent another kind of music, and make solo albums, Linda McCartney played with her husband in the same band called The Wings...

Happy Birthday Ray Charles

Happy Birthday Ray Charles

September 23,1930 June 10,2004-age 73

I’m going to just let you know, that I know he’s dead, but on my website, all who I talk about is alive and healthy. I’m not crazy, it’s just my way to type about they talents, their influents on other performers and other people that I may know and me. Yes me, I was inspired by most of the people that I already typed about. The 1960’s meant a lot to me, in my choices of life, and these performers may inspire you, or maybe someone that I haven’t typed about yet.

With Ray Charles, is no exception, I don’t know how many hours nor how many times, that I heard “Hit The Road Jack” and I’m sure you have heard it also...

Happy Birthday B.B. King

Happy Birthday B.B. King

B.B. King September 16,1925-May 14,2015

Today is B.B. King’s birthday, and I want to celebrate it. I know he’s dead in real life, but on my website everyone that I type about is alive and well. There life isn’t though here, and their legend lives on, and will continue as long as my website stays up.

I’m not picking anyone that don’t like for my website, these only performers are what I bought from iTunes (which I wanted a website for), and on CD’s (which I’ll be uploading soon), so when I type about someone on my website, it means I’m going to type about everything about them...

Happy Birthday Otis Redding

Happy Birthday Otis Redding

67. Otis Redding September 9,1941-December 10,1967 soul singer

Otis Redding was the 67th performer I blogged about, and even through you may not see it yet, I’ve done 112 performers now and I think that’s fantastic.

Anyone that I type about, I’ll also celebrate their birthdays, for me entertainers are more important than politicians and we celebrate them all the time, theirs a few I have no respect for, like the last democrat president we had. I’m not typing his name, because I don’t swear. I’m not typing that I’m not a democrat, but if we ever get someone like him again, I’ll never vote democrat again.

I can type anything on my website, because I don’t know if anyone is reading or visiting since I was told to get rid of my iTunes (not by iTunes but they been go...

Happy Birthday Buddy Holly

Buddy Holly’s (September 7,1936-February 3,1959) birthday is today, and I’m not sure if anyone is going to celebrate it. For he was part of the 1950’s music scene and was one of the contenders that was overthrowing Elvis Presley. Even though Buddy Holly started his musical career in the 1950’s, you hear anything about him on any 1950’s specials or Greatest Hits album, and he died before the 1960’s started. Yet Buddy Holly inspired others to write songs and sing them as well, for the most part, most part, you were either singing songs for yourself or on your own or writing for others.

Buddy Holly is the first to wear glasses, where others were told that they can’t wear them...
